These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the PLUG developer sandbox, its APIs, documentation, dashboards, and related services (together, the "Service"). By registering for, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by PLUGN LTD ("PLUG", "we", "us", or "our"), whose registered details are set out in Section 15. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.
1Eligibility & accounts
The Service is intended solely for businesses and their authorised developers, not for consumers. To register you must provide a valid corporate email address, your name, your company name, and a phone number, and you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must keep your account credentials confidential and notify us promptly at plug@plugn.us of any unauthorised use.
2API keys
On verification we issue you a Client ID and an API Key (the "Credentials"). The Credentials are secret and personal to your account. You must:
- keep the API Key confidential and never embed it in public or client-side code, repositories, or logs;
- use the Credentials only to access the Service for your own evaluation and development;
- be responsible for all requests made with your Credentials, whether or not authorised by you.
You may rotate your API Key at any time from the console. We may rotate, suspend, or revoke Credentials where we reasonably believe they have been compromised or misused.
3Nature of the sandbox
The Service is a non-production test environment provided to help you integrate. Accordingly:
- all cards, balances, PANs, CVVs, transactions, and transfers are simulated test data and have no monetary value;
- the Service must not be used to process, store, or transmit real cardholder data, real personal data of third parties, or genuine financial transactions;
- responses are designed to mirror our production interfaces but may change, and must not be relied upon as a guarantee of production behaviour;
- the Service is provided on a best-effort basis and carries no service-level commitment, uptime guarantee, or support obligation.
4Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including sanctions, anti-money-laundering, and data-protection laws;
- submit real personal data of any individual, real payment-card data, or any data you are not authorised to process;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except as we expressly permit;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, circumvent rate limits or usage controls, or place undue load on the infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to any third party as a standalone offering.
We may set and enforce reasonable rate limits and usage restrictions and may monitor use of the Service to ensure compliance and security.
5Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, APIs, documentation, design, and trademarks, is and remains the property of PLUG and its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for the purpose of evaluating and building an integration during the sandbox period.
You retain ownership of the application code you write. You grant us the right to process the requests and configuration you submit for the purpose of operating the Service.
6Confidentiality
You may be given access to non-public information about the Service, including API specifications and roadmap details ("Confidential Information"). You agree to keep Confidential Information confidential, to use it only to evaluate and build your integration, and not to disclose it without our prior written consent.
7Changes & availability
The Service is under active development. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including endpoints, features, or the availability of the sandbox itself, at any time and without liability. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect existing integrations.
8Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your sandbox data.
9Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that results obtained from it will be accurate or reliable.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PLUG and its affiliates, operators, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is a free sandbox, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed one hundred (100) Azerbaijani manat (AZN 100).
11Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PLUG, its operators, affiliates, and personnel from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, including any real personal data you submit in breach of Section 3.
12Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy.
13Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
15Operator & contact
The Service is operated by PLUGN LTD, a company organised under the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with its registered office at Rəşid Behbudov 55, Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan ("PLUG").
Questions about these Terms can be sent to plug@plugn.us.
